Pocstar – The new single-hulled racer

The market has long been calling for a fast single-hulled boat for juniors, so we have decided to do something about it. We are now developing a single-hull, 14-foot ballast centreboard racer that is suitable for skilled junior sailors from 15 years old and upwards. The boats are made of carbon-fibre from an environmentally friendly system that makes them 100% recyclable. The weight is around 50 kg, with a sail area of 12 m2, which promises extraordinary speeds. With outriggers and oars as extra accessories, the dinghy works perfectly as a single scull. The design and construction are in full swing and we will soon be test sailing the prototypes. The boat goes under the name Pocstar and it will have its world premiere in November at the Scandinavian Boat Show at Älvsjömassan, just outside Stockholm.
